Kiosks4Business (K4B) recently delivered a complete self-check-in solution at the newly opened Park Avenue Hotel, part of the Lore Group.

In a bold and forward-thinking move, the hotel has chosen to operate without any reception staff, relying entirely on our kiosks for guest check-in - a concept that has been extremely well received by both the client and guests.

We supplied four desktop-integrated kiosks, designed to sit neatly within the hotel’s bespoke check-in table, giving the arrival area a sleek, minimal look that aligns with the hotel’s modern design ethos. The integration required close coordination with the client and joinery team, as the kiosks had to fit seamlessly into a custom-built unit with limited space. Despite the challenges, the result is a clean, intuitive setup that enhances the overall guest experience.

The kiosks use P3 Hotels software and key partner of ours. Together we provide key functions such as:

  • Guest check-in/out
  • Room key card encoding
  • Payments
  • Product upselling
  • Integration with the property’s Opera Cloud PMS

Early feedback from the Lore Group has been very positive. Based on the success of this project, they have expressed interest in rolling out similar kiosk solutions to additional properties, recognising the potential to reduce staffing requirements while maintaining a high standard of service.
